How do I find out if my iphone 5c is unlocked?

I have a iPhone 5c and I am trying to find out if it is unlocked or unlocked for just certain carrier.

What does it say when you look at Settings>General>About>Carrier?

You may have to scroll to see the entry for Carrier.

Ask whoever you bought it from.

Call AppleCare to ask which wireless provider is locked to- be

prepared to give them the serial number.
